Rep. Rita Mayfield Presents a Discussion, “Re-Imagine Public Safety Act”
When: Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon
Where: Park Place, 414 S. Lewis Ave., Waukegan
What: State Representative Rita Mayfield hosts Chris Patterson of the newly created Office of Gun Violence Prevention, Assistant Secretary Department of Human Services. They will talk about the Remaining Public Safety Act that will move $250 million to community groups and public safety professionals to address gun violence. The meeting is in partnership with State Senator Adriane Johnson, State Representative LaShawn K. Ford and Waukegan Township Supervisor Marc Jones.
