Winter items may be dropped off up to Dec. 15 at these locations:

  • State Bank of The Lakes, 10 E. Rollins Rd., Round Lake Beach
  • Waukegan Township, 149 S. Genesee St., Waukegan
  • Mano a Mano Family Resource Center, 6 E. Main St., Round Lake Park
  • Mano a Mano, 1801 Sheridan Rd., Suite 101, North Chicago

Monday, 12/13: Brad Schneider Founder’s Circle Virtual Discussion with Rebecca Shi. Discussion with immigration advocate Rebecca Shi on Zoom, 7-8pm.

Wednesday, 12/15: J Street Chicago Annual Event Honoring Fred Andes. The 2021 J Street Annual Event features a discussion between former Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes and J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami. VIP reception: 11:15am, main event: noon.

Wednesday, 12/15: Deputy Voter Registrar Training in Libertyville. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and registered to vote in Lake County. The event is open only to Lake County residents who are interested in helping to register new voters. 3-4pm, Public Works Department, 650 W. Winchester Rd., Libertyville.
