Wednesday, 12/1: Nancy Rotering for Illinois Supreme Court Virtual Reception. Cocktail reception supporting Nancy Rotering’s campaign for Illinois Supreme Court Justice, 5:30-6:30pm, on Zoom.

Thursday, 12/2: Libertyville Township Democrats December Meeting. The regular monthly meeting of the Libertyville Township Dems. Food and soft drinks provided; cash bar 7-8:30pm at Pizzeria DeVille’s, 404 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

Saturday, 12/4: Grant Township Democrats Presents The Changing Climate of Climate Policy. 10-11:30am on Zoom. Attendees will learn what science tells us about climate change, what can be done about it, which policies are being considered, and how to get involved.

Saturday, 12/4: Democratic Open House During Waukegan Main Street Tree Lighting Ceremony. Open House 4-7pm at Democratic Headquarters Office, 118 N. Genesee St., Waukegan. Tree Lighting at 5:30pm, Kris Kringle Artist Market from 3-7pm Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers are needed to welcome and chat with folks stopping in the office.

Sunday, 12/5: Warren Township Democrats Holiday Party and Fall Fundraiser. 2-4pm, Tacos El Norte, 401 N. Riverside Dr. #27, Gurnee. Warren Township Democrats hold their Annual Holiday Party, this year combining it with a fundraising event so they can better help candidates in 2022.

Monday, 12/6: Women for Bob Morgan Reception with Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton. A cocktail reception supporting State Representative Bob Morgan, with special guest Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton. 6-8pm, Westin Chicago North Shore, 601 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling.

Thursday, 12/9: Holiday Reception for North Suburban Women Senators Melinda Bush, Laura Fine, Ann Gillespie, Adriane Johnson, Julie Morrison, and Laura Murphy. On Tour Brewing, 1725 W. Hubbard St., Chicago, 5:30-7:30pm.

Thursday, 12/9: Chelsea Laliberte Barnes Campaign Kick-off Fundraiser. 6-8:30pm, Durty Nellie’s Gastropub, 180 North Smith St., Palatine.

Monday, 12/13: Senate Candidate Maria Peterson FundraiserFundraiser for Maria Peterson, Democratic candidate for Illinois Senate District 26. 7-9pm, Strawberry Moon, 204 S. Main St., Wauconda.

Wednesday, 12/15: Deputy Voter Registrar Training in Libertyville. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and registered to vote in Lake County. The event is open only to Lake County residents who are interested in helping to register new voters. 3-4pm, Public Works Department, 650 W. Winchester Rd., Libertyville.
