Tuesday, 8/3: Fiscally Fit in 2021 with Holly Kim – You Can Bank On It (Banking Basics). Online event, noon.

Sunday, 8/15: Jonathan Carroll Event at Wrigley Field Green Day Concert. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., Skybox.

Stepping Out to Celebrate 4th of July

Democratic elected officials joined July 4th Weekend parades across Lake County. Marchers included Congressmen Brad Schneider (photo at right) and Sean Casten, State Senator Adriane Johnson, State Representatives Dan Didech and Bob Morgan, Lake County Sheriff John Idleburg (top photo), Lake County Treasurer Holly Kim, and Lake County Clerk Robin O’Connor. Also marching were State Central Committeewomen Lauren Beth Gash and Nancy Shepherdson, and State Central Committeemen Patrick Watson and Thomas Maillard.

There were celebrations in Antioch, Barrington, Glencoe, Lincolnshire, and Mundelein, among others. For more photos, check out our July 4th photos page.
