When: Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 7:00 – 8:30pm
Where: Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Rd., Glencoe, IL. Parking fee waived for attendees.
What: State Senator Julie Morrison and Representatives Elaine Nekritz and Scott Drury host a town hall meeting on environmental issues. Panelists include speakers from the Natural Resources Defense Council, Sierra Club, Botanic Garden, and the Illinois Environmental Council. They will discuss topics such as clean energy and climate change, pollinator decline, preventing lead in drinking water, and urban flooding.
