CAPOW and NEIS Co-Sponsor Wild About Wildflowers Fundraiser

Where: Lutheran Church of the Ascension, 460 Sunset Ridge Rd., Northfield, IL
What: Citizens Act to Protect our Water (CAPOW) and Nuclear Energy Information Service (NEIS) co-sponsor Wild About Wildflowers: Conserving Water, Bees and Beauty. Chapman Kelley, award-winning artist and celebrated painter, will present the many benefits of native gardens in public spaces and in your own yard. Local beekeepers will talk about the challenges facing pollinators in our region and the benefits of wildflowers for maintaining healthy populations.
