Meeting on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement

When: Wednesday, December 18, 2013, Doors open 6:30 pm, Meeting starts 7:00 pm

Where: The Overflow Coffee Bar Auditorium, 1550 S. State St., Chicago (street parking with meters, some free parking, and a lot one block west of the Overflow)

What: The Illinois Trade Coalition and many cooperating organizations are encouraging people to come to this informational meeting. RSVP is not necessary, and everyone is encouraged to come. The event is nonpartisan. It will be an opportunity to learn how and why the trade agreements are bad for the country. Josh Wise, Executive Director of the Illinois Trade Coalition, will provide the information needed to understand what is at stake if the Trans-Pacific Partnership passes. A sister agreement, the Trans-Atlantic Free Trade Agreement, will also be discussed.
