TDU Kicks Off the 2015-16 School Year with Three Exciting Programs

Watch your email. Tenth Dems University, your “political party school,” is following William McNary’s August 19 program on the Republican Agenda with two more free programs in September and October.

On Wednesday, September 9, at 7:00 p.m., TDU presents a Conversation on Current Events with Chicago Sun-Times columnist Neil Steinberg at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel, 933 Skokie Boulevard, Northbrook.

Steinberg is a popular speaker and acclaimed author whose writing is both highly entertaining and deeply moving.

Then on Thursday, October 1, at 7:00 p.m., also at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel in Northbrook, TDU presents a panel on Women in Politics featuring Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle. Preckwinkle will be joined by Josina Morita, candidate for Commissioner of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Chicago. A third panelist will be announced.
The panel will be moderated by author and lecturer Rebecca Sive, Academic Director of the Women in Public Leadership Executive Education Program at the Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago. She is the author of Every Day is Election Day: A Woman’s Guide to Winning Any Office, from the PTA to the White House.

Both of these programs are free of charge. For more information or to RSVP, visit tenthdems.org/TDU, email events@tenthdems.org, or call (847) 266-VOTE (8683).
